My 6km walk for today is done & dusted...
I managed to get parking a little after 6am this morning and by the time I was ready to leave there was no parking left anywhere. The beaches really fill up fast...
As much as I love summer time, it does have a down side. A fire started in Simon's Town yesterday and some people had to be evacuated. Those working around the clock to keep the community safe are heroes, and I hope those firefighters who sustained injuries get well soon. Stay safe out there.
